'Homework is not a real thing': This little boy wrote the SASSIEST letter to his teacher
Trying to get the kids to do their homework on the weekend can be quite a tricky task. The weekends are associated with fun and relaxation not studying and writing essays.
We’re sure many mums have encountered their kids panicking on a Sunday evening when they’ve realised they have a four-page history essay due on Monday morning.
Some parents believe weekend homework is good for children, however, others think it is unfair. Children should be allowed to enjoy at least two days away from schoolwork and studying.
One young boy took matters into his own hands when he decided not to do his homework one weekend and his reason is pretty hilarious.
The youngster’s cousin took to Twitter to explain that his teacher asked him to write a paper explaining why he didn’t do his homework.
The young boy’s sassy letter is bound to brighten up your day.
It reads: “I didn’t do my homework because I don’t want to do school work over the weekend because it’s a stress-free time to go out with friends, watch TV and play games.
“I don’t do it also because it makes me really mad and unhappy. I do what makes me happy because I want to be happy, plus my mom has been finding grey hairs not trying to stress out.”
He continued: “Real world jobs don’t give you homework unless you’re a boss or teacher, homework is not a real thing in the real world so we should not have to do it in school because it’s not useful.”
So my cousin and his wife got an email from their sons teacher. He didn’t do his hw so she asked him to write a paper saying why he didn’t do his hw and this is what she got… pic.twitter.com/2eDh2IgB9X

The student ended the letter in the most hilarious way, writing: “Case closed. The court rule in favour of Edward Immanuel Cortez in the case of student v. homework.”
Edward is officially our new hero.
