Help parents care for their sick children at home by doing this one VERY simple thing
When a child has a life-limiting condition, many parents take on the role of primary carer and prefer to care for their child at home when possible.
And thanks to LauraLynn, Ireland's only children's hospice, parents now have the opportunity to access a range of regular and reliable respite, both in and away from home.
The LauraLynn@HOME programme provides family support, symptom management, end-of-life care, bereavement support and direct care to children and families in the comfort of their own home.
But the charity needs to raise funds to keep doing the incredible job it is doing – which is where Fairy Non-Bio (and you) come in.
Ever since the first Fairy soaps were created 90 years ago, the brand has been tried and trusted in caring for the whole family for generations, and now they are extending that care by supporting LauraLynn.
The brand will make a donation from every pack of Fairy Non-Bio Pods and Fairy Non-Bio Fabric Softener sold between now and mid-July to LauraLynn@Home – all you have to do is buy them.
By the end of the summer, Fairy will contribute a minimum of €25,000 to the programme.
LauraLynn provides specialised care and support for families of children with life-limiting illness; deeply committed to each child and their family as a whole, they provide tailored expert care.
Through a team of nurses and clinicians, LauraLynn cares for families in their location of choice, be it in their hospice facility or in the family home, and this can change depending on the family’s needs at any given time.
Fairy Non-Bio’s donation will go directly to ensure families have the hospice care they need, where and when they need it, allowing parents the time to be a mum and dad rather than full-time carers.
