Grandmother is told to close her eyes... and gets a huge shock when she opens them again

This grandmother has waited nearly 20 years to become a great-grandmother, and had no idea what was about to happen when Jeff Deal walked into the room.

As can be seen in the video posted to YouTube, Jeff tells the grandmother to close her eyes as he walks in the door.

Obliging, Granny sits in her chair waiting for the surprise.

However, she gets a huge shock when she was told to open them and sees a tiny baby in front of her.

“A baby,” she cries, before covering her mouth with her hands, clearly in shock.

“Thank you, Lord. Thank you.”

Bringing the baby over to the granny, Mum explains that he was born on the 19th and that day was the official day that he belonged to the family.

He was 11-days-old.

“He is so handsome,” she coos. “What’s his name?”

“Jordan. Jordan Chase,” the mum replies.

“How did ya’ll keep this such a secret?” Granny asks.

Admitting that it hadn’t been easy, the new mum said that it had been the longest nine months of her life, before explaining how they had been put in touch with the birth mum.

However, Granny is clearly not that bothered about the finer details; she is simply in awe of her new great-grandson.

“Thank you, Lord. I’ve been praying for this for a long time.”
