Girl, 10, goes out of her way to comfort six-year-old flying alone

Emma Morgese and her dad Philippe Morgese were travelling back from a weekend away when they met six-year-old Elli and her mum, Cora, in the airport. 

It was here that a beautiful friendship was formed. 

While her mum was there in the waiting area, Elli was, in fact, going to be flying alone – she was on a break from school and was visiting her granny. 

And when Philippe, who founded Daddy Daughter Hair Factory, realised this, he and Cora exchanged numbers so that he could keep her updated on the journey, according to Babble. 

Elli, who was in the care of the flight attendants, boarded alone and sat at the back of the plane. 

When everyone was on board, Cora's mum subsequently texted Philippe and asked if he could check on Elli, before asking if her duaghter could sit with them. 

And thanks to a few kind-hearted passengers, the six-year-old was able to move beside Emma, who made the youngster feel very welcome. 

She braided her hair, took her to the bathroom, played cards with her, and basically had the best time together. 

Emma's kindness did not go unnoticed, and the airline rewarded the ten-year-old with a free flight for her next trip!
