Firefighter finishes 90-year-old's yard when he falls ill in the heat
These temperatures over the last month have been driving just about everyone crazy with the heat.
The elderly are people that we might tend to forget will struggle to adapt to this intense weather.
So when a 90-year-old collapsed while working in his yard due to the heat, he was blessed that there was a firefighter nearby to save the day.
One @PlanoFireRescue firefighter finished up a resident’s yard work after responding to help the 90 year-old who had collapsed while out in his backyard. This is just one example of the fine men and women who serve our great city everyday. #PlanoProud #LovePlano pic.twitter.com/fH8c09Yeos

Rance Pringle, of the Plano Fire Department in Texas, was the hero of the hour who swooped in to help when this man fell ill due to the hot temperatures.
Rance was one of the first responders who answered the call and was quickly on the scene.
It took him just five minutes to finish the man's yard work in temperatures that had reached over 100 degrees.

Other firemen helped the man inside while Rance worked outside.
Speaking to CBS FW, Rance said,''if you see someone in need or if they need help if they’re having a bad day, just try to be a bright spot on someone’s day.''
''It doesn't’t take much effort. I think just the effort alone… makes all the difference in the world.''
