Everyone is praising this dad for calling out a supermarket's sexist sign
Justin Simard took to Twitter after he was left confused by a supermarket's car park sign.
The Canadian singer was in Sobeys in Canada with his nine-month-old son recently, and when he found a parking spot close to the store he nabbed it.
However, the spot was designated for 'Expecting Mothers' and 'Mothers With Small Children' and Justin was left wondering if he was allowed leave the car there… even though he was with a 'small child'.
So he took to Twitter to ask the supermarket if he was allowed to park there or was it only for women…
@sobeys crap, am I allowed to park here? #notababysitter #dadissues pic.twitter.com/NY3OkcBbnP

"@sobeys crap, am I allowed to park here? #notababysitter#dadissues," he wrote.
Recalling the predicament, the father told HuffPost that when he got out of the car the driver next to him gave him a "dirty look", but this quickly "vanished when [he] took [his] son out of his car seat”.
“Then the wording of the sign bothered me. What about single fathers? What about same sex couples? It occurred to me that the sign could be more inclusive.”
Justin's question was quickly answered by Sobeys, who saw the tweet and responded by saying: "You are definitely entitled to that parking spot, Justin! Which location was this so we can update the signage? #SuperDad"

Many took to Twitter to thank the dad for posting his question, saying that they too were left confused by signs like that.
When we had our twins I proudly parked in the new moms parking spots. Those baby seats are heavy!

Hell yea you are allowed to park there. As a single father for 8 years who had custody of our son, I know EXACTLY what that felt like #Truth

What do you think? Was he overreacting or justified in sending the tweet?
