Enjoy a hassle-free morning AND do your bit for charity this March
Getting kids up, dressed and out the door in the morning (on time) is one of the toughest battles all mothers have to face!
But what if we told you you could shave at least 20 minutes off your morning routine (for one day at least)? AND do your bit for charity?
Well, you can.
On Friday, 3rd March, Early Childhood Ireland are encouraging parents to let their children wear pyjamas into crèche or preschool and raise money for charity.
Now in its 14th year, National Pyjama Day has raised over €2.5 million for children’s charities in Ireland.
This year's theme is on supporting children under six with additional needs and – based on funds raised – grants of between €40,000 and €100,000 will be awarded to the three chosen charities.
And while, yes, it is all about children helping children and having fun, us mums will definitely benefit from not having to bribe them to get dressed that morning – just throw their coat over their jammies and you're good to go!
