Eight-year-old is finally going to be adopted... but he doesn't want to leave his older brother
When eight-year-old Dawson Brydges found out he was about to be adopted, he was over the moon.
His prospective parents, Stephen and Robbin, were just as excited, as they were gaining two sons.
You see, when the couple had originally found Dawson, they knew he would fit right in, but they later realised he had an older brother: 11-year-old, Dalton.
And even though Dawson was so young, after four years in foster care he still didn't want to leave his older brother behind.
Dalton, has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, needing a wheelchair but instead of deciding to split the brothers, Stephen turned to his wife and said: "Looks like we need to put in a ramp."
Robbin shares: "I try to make sure that they know being together is the most important, that we protect each other, look after each other, and we do the right thing."
"I want them to know that the bad things that have happened; that's only a small portion of their whole entire life."
These two boys are going to be incredibly happy in their new home; such a sweet thing for Robbin and Stephen too.
