Egg free almond butter bread
Description:
A really nice alternative with almond butter could easily replace many over the counter healthy breads.
Main ingredients:
Dairy, Flour, Sugar, Nuts
Ingredients:
220g self raising flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
65g sugar
100g slivered almonds
355ml half fat milk
90g Almond butter
Method:
Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas mark 5.
Combine the dry ingredients and the nuts together then add the milk to the mixture and stir well until smooth.
Add the almond butter then mix again.
Pour into a loaf tin
Top the batter with some toasted almond slivers and bake for approximately 50 minutes.
Cool completely before slicing the bread.
