Doctors make a startling discovery mere DAYS after the birth of these triplets
This is an incredible story.
Amy Howard found out she was expecting triplets last year, during a routine scan.
And while both Amy and her husband, Mike, were shocked by the news, they were clearly delighted to be expanding their family by three.

Two of the boys – Hunter and Jackson – are identical while Kaden is their fraternal brother.
However, when they were born last October, doctors made a startling discovery about their heads: all three boys had misshapen skulls.
Diagnosed with craniosynostosis, a disorder which can limit brain growth, Dr. David Chesler, a paediatric neurosurgeon was forced to operate on them.

“Your skull is made up of plates, it’s not a single bone,” he explained to Today.
"[If the seams join together too early] the brain can be put under pressure. … That can be detrimental to the brain, the vision, the life of the child.
"It’s not imminently life-threatening, but it can cause real consequences down the road.”
And while they will have to wear orthotic custom-made helmets 23 hours a day, thankfully, following three separate surgeries in January, the brothers are said to be doing well.
And their gorgeous little smiles prove it!
