Dad takes pictures of son and dog every month- the results are adorable

They say that dogs are a man's best friend, and we can totally get on board with that. 

So in honour of 2018 being the Chinese year of the dog, we bring you the cutest furry sidekick and his bestie. 

Timothy Jones, a U.K. based photographer has been documenting his son's growth, by sitting him next to their Beagle. 

Speaking to Love What Matters, Jones said the idea came to him one day when sitting his son, Stanley, on a chair: 

" I just remember sitting Stanley on the chair one day, and Jasper jumping up on there with him. I grabbed my camera and took the shot. The idea came from that." 

Jones said that it had been a great experience documenting Stanley's growth with Jasper the dog by his side: 

"It's been fun watching Stan grow up next to Jasper. We even have the first two years printed out and framed, in our hallway at home." 

Stanley is now three-years-old and Jasper is eight.
