Dad takes his daughter's phone and what happens next is SO cruel

Dad jokes are probably the greatest thing that has ever graced the internet. 

Not only can you show your kids what they have to look forward to in years to come, but they're also an excellent reminder of how cringe your dad was too. 

But one dad may have outdone them all. 

For some reason or other, dads love nothing more than seeing a sulky teenager that they can annoy. 

So when one teenage girl's parents confiscated her phone, her dad obviously thought the debacle was absolutely hilarious. 

When she was in her bedroom, hating her life without a phone, she gets an unexpected note under her door from her pop.

The child deep in his heart could not let the situation go without some hilarious input… and we can't stop laughing at his sheer cruelty! 

Dad took a white A4 sheet of paper and drew the outline of a phone's text messaging system. 

'Texting' his daughter he asks: "Hi daughter, hope you are behaving yourself. I love you."

But the 'text' goes unread as in typical dad fashion it takes him a solid two minutes to find and send an emoji.

With five minutes passing without an answer, Dad 'types': "Why are you not answering me?"

And then the penny drops… "Oh wait…" 

And guess what? It took another two minutes for Dad to send his laughing emoji!

While we would love to kill Dad for even attempting to be funny in such a tragic circumstance – we're not gonna lie, we totally laughed, a lot!
