Dad collapses in airport after he meets his three-year-old son for the first time
A father is overcome with emotion after he meets his three-year-old son for the first time, and we are bawling.
Back in 2012, Alik , a refugee from Sudan, arrived in Fort Worth with her two young children; she was also pregnant with her third, according to The North Hill.
Sadly however, her husband, Dyan, whom she had become separated from when they fled their village, was stuck in a refugee camp in Egypt.
Due to the fact that evidence of their marriage had been destroyed, Dyan was classified as a single man, and was not given permission to enter the US.
Unfortunately, because of this, the chances of him ever being given asylum were slim to none, and he didn’t think he would ever see his family again.
When they arrived in Texas, Alik and her children were put in touch with Mary Claire and Molly from The Village Church, a group of people who help refugees to settle in.
In fact, the three became great friends, and both were present when Alik gave birth to her third child.
Mary Claire and Molly did all they could to reunite the family, but were told that it would be an impossible task.
But they didn't give up.
And it is because of them that, four years after they were separated, Dyan was reunited with his family.
Stepping off the airplane in Texas, the father was overcome with emotion as he met his three-year-old son for the first time.
Falling to his knees, he thanks God for helping him return to his family, and we CANNOT stop crying.
