Crying school boy is lost until his classmates step in in the most heartwarming way
Your first day of school is daunting enough as it is.
Now imagine that you got on the wrong bus after school and were panicking as you were getting further and further away from home.
The fear is real, isn't it?
This is what happened to 11-year-old Alex when he got lost trying to get home from his first day of school.
He was stuck without a phone or any money, with no means of getting home.
Thankfully, a 15-year-old fellow student came to his rescue.
Tom O'Brien noticed the young boy crying, so what did he do?
He gave him £10 and ordered a taxi to collect him from the next stop.
As well as that, two fellow students, Harry Campbell, and Dylan Robson, waited with him until the taxi arrived.
The mother of one of the students, Ruth Furlong, wrote about what happened on Facebook.

"There really are some truly decent kids out there! Alex's first day at high school yesterday and on the bus ride home, a year 11 lad came over to them all asking how their first day went? He spots a new kid crying because he's gotten on the wrong bus,'' she wrote.
''It's ok mate, don't worry, you'll be home soon' he told him. He whipped out a tenner and arranged for a taxi to pick him up at the next bus stop and made sure he got home safe. Faith in humanity restored a little today."
To make this story even more fantastic, the taxi driver didn't charge the boy or his parents for the taxi ride home and dropped the £10 back at the school for Tom.
Heartwarming stuff!
