Comedian's advice for raising kids with disabilities is incredibly eye-opening

As parents, we know just how tough raising kids can be.

You want to do best by your child, to encourage and inspire, but you also want to get to work on time.

And it can be harder if you are the parent of a child with special needs, as there are extra challenges that you may come across.

In a bid to help parents who are faced with these challenges, Kristina Kuzmic sat down with comedian Zach Anner, who has cerebral palsy, to ask him what advice he would share with parents, and then posted the results on Facebook.

And Zach has four hilarious but incredibly helpful tips that are sure to help mums and dads all over.

So what are this tips?

1. Be OK watching your children struggle

2. Don't give kids credit for things they haven't done

3. Let your kid's passions lead, rather than the disability

4. Treat your disabled teenager like a teenager
