Christmas at The Square is back and better than ever

If you’re trying to think of fun things to do with the whole family this Christmas, then make sure to get you and your little ones down to The Square in Tallaght for a festive, fun-filled day out.

Sunday, November 21 sees the return of Santa’s Grotto at The Square and an eventful day of celebrations to launch their 2021 festive experience.

Here’s a rundown of everything on affair at Christmas at The Square this festive season:

Santa’s Grotto – Santa is back! Visit Santa in his colourful cartoon grotto on level 3, with added safety measures and a new pre-booking system to complete your magical day out. Booking now open at www.thesqtallaght.ie/christmas

Panoramic Ferris Wheel and Kids Festive Funfair – The massive 35m Panoramic Ferris Wheel (dubbed the “Tallaght eye”!) returns! Sparkling in the sky with views across Dublin city and mountains -the big wheel is a huge hit and is this year joined by added funfair rides for the little ones! Featuring new Candy Cane Trampoline and a Festive Spin Zone, with firm favourites Sea Storm and the classic Merry Go Round- the outdoor experience on level 3 is not to be missed.

Adventure Trail – The brand-new Adventure Trail is a festive journey full of magic moments for the whole family. Pick up a map from Santa’s North Pole Post Office, tick off the challenges and capture lots of sElfies on your way! Highlights include the Candy Cane Swing, Hop Scotch Lane and Santa’s Sleigh! A €2 donation to The Square’s children’s charity partner Barnardos can be made when picking up a map, with completed trail maps entered into a draw to win a €250 The Square Gift Card!

That’s not all though — Christmas at The Square kicks off Sunday, November 21 from 12pm with special entertainment on the day including DJ, magician, puppet show, balloon modelling, special guest appearances and treats on the day.

And if you can’t make it down to The Square for the launch day, don’t worry — every Thursday from November 25 to December 23 will see late night shopping at The Square made more fun with special entertainers including Mrs. Claus, magician and balloon modelers. There’s something for everyone!
