Babysitter does something truly special for little girl who lost her father

No matter what age you are, losing a parent is not easy – something three-year-old Alidy knows about all too well.

The youngster from Florida lost her father in November, and, as a way of coping, likes to dress up in gorgeous little costumes.

She also thinks her babysitter Keegan Carnahan is a mermaid because of her pink hair.

So Keegan decided to do something truly special for the little girl: arrive at her house dressed head to toe in a mermaid costume!

The 15-year-old went above and beyond her duties as a sitter, and even splashed around in the bath with the youngster, who had her very own costume.

According to Inside Edition, Alidy is convinced that the teenager is a real live mermaid – and was clearly delighted to have her come over to play.
