An exaggerated review leads to restaurant owner defending his two-year-old baby

This is not a joke people – this is a true story; but we find it quite comical all the same!

We're all mums, and while we vehemently try to make sure our kids are mannerly and follow proper 'order', sometimes they just run wild and free without a care in the world.

And generally, there's absolutely nothing we can do about it, only run around after them in circles trying to catch them before the ground swallows us up – c'est la vie.

However, when one family-run restaurant was caught out online, we had to laugh because this is literally our lives.

Imagine Vegan Cafe is run by a couple who have two children that love to run 'free' while also meeting new customers in the cafe.

But when a review from a woman named, Chelsea Bartley, described the (overly exaggerated) moment she came across the couple's two-year-old daughter, Aspen, we could not control ourselves.

"A bare butt naked baby was running around, stood up on a table, with it's black they're so dirty feet, and bent over to show me it's butthole!"

Now while we agree that the episode is HILARIOUS, we are so not on board with Chelsea referring to baby Aspen as 'it'.

However, the more we thought about the scenario, the more we hope Chelsea spends a little more time around children in case she ever decides to have children of her own.

This our friend, is EVERY SINGLE DAY in the life of a mother!

Aspen's dad Adam explained that his toddler is in the midst of potty training, which led to the running out into the restaurant butt naked, as she had just learned how to whip her nappy off.

As for the dirty feet… tell me a parent who can keep shoes AND socks on their child throughout the day – this will be the ultimate challenge folks.

And Aspen pointing out her butthole? Children are fascinated by everything, yes that does include their buttholes, and they will show you. In fact they will want nothing more than for you to know they have a butthole.

The review has since gone viral, with the cafe having to shut down their social media for some time as people are flabbergasted by the two-year-olds actions.

Nonetheless, the family have risen from the butthole and will now have #buttholegate memorabilia T-shirts available.

Now this is one shopping item which HAS to be added to our list – grab it now mums, we all know we'll need one someday!
