'An emergency measure': This new scheme to help homelessness is genius
Homelessness is a real problem and one that needs to be addressed.
That is what this group of people thought – and they are doing something brilliant to help combat it.
Called Hot Water Bottle Network, the group have come up with a scheme to help the homeless in a few areas.
As the temperature drops, they are tying hot water bottles to tree branches and hanging them there to help the homeless.
The hot water bottles are labelled with directions to businesses nearby that have agreed to provide hot water for them.
There are hot water bottles hanging from trees to be found in Bristol, Bath, Leicester, and Brighton, all depending on hot water bottle donation and local businesses participation.
What a kind gesture, right?
People can either offer their hot water bottles or sign up their business to offer hot water on any of the network's Facebook pages.

Bristol organiser Pete Wentland said, ''it's already cold on the streets.''
“We are taking this action as an emergency measure to try to make the winter that tiny bit more bearable for those who face the worst brunt of it.''
He continued, ''in encouraging local businesses to help rough sleepers we also hope for a breaking down of the barriers that separate us.''
We think that this is a fantastic idea an way to help the homeless in your community – great work to everyone involved.
