Elderly woman reminded stressed out mum to 'cherish the noise'
We all have those days where feel exhausted and totally overwhelmed with life, now throw a couple of kids into the mix and you have full on melt down mode.
Jaime Primak Sullivan is a mum an d a TV personality, with a busy life and hectic schedule.
Jaime recently shared a story on her Facebook, of how one woman reminded her of the little things in life that are important.
The mum-of-three explained to her 485,000 followers that she had been grocery shopping recently.
It had been one of THOSE days- Jaime had just returned from a trip, and was exhausted.
She "changed clothes, un-packed back packs, started homework, made snacks, walked the dog, started laundry, made a grocery list, finished homework, AND filled water bottles".
After all of this, Jaime dropped her daughter to basketball, and had a 50-minute window to do some food shopping.
"As I navigated the aisles – the repetition began. "Can we get popsicles? Can you hold my balloon! I'm Hungry! Can I eat this?" I was hanging on by a thread" she explained in the Facebook post.
"Finally my face dropped. My chin slumped to my chest. I was physically and emotionally exhausted" she continued, admitting that she was getting more annoyed with every passing moment.
However, a kind elderly woman approached Jaime, and gave her some very special advice:
"We're all tired. It's just a matter of what we're tired of. I'm tired of silence. My husband is gone, my children are grown and most days I don't hear so well, so for me, this noise is nice. Enjoy it while you still can."
Over 10,000 people have liked this uplifting post, with hundreds commenting on the kindness of this sweet old woman.
