A single photograph depicts the joy that can come from co-parenting

Tiffany Smith began a relationship with a man four years ago, a man who had a son.

The little boy was only three-years-old but Tiffany was now making a choice to be a part of his life by loving his dad.

Admitting: “It was a choice that has caused a lot of heartaches and some resentment from time to time.”

But she concluded that, sometimes, the initial heartache pays off.

Tiffany was sitting at home with her stepson’s dad when she received a phone call.

It was her stepson, wondering if she was available to come along to ‘muffins with mum’ at his school.

Naturally, Tiffany said yes, but she also thanked his mum for the invitation, who replied: “Thank you for being an awesome step mum.”

Taking the photograph at the ‘muffins with mum’ get-together, Tiffany said:

“All of the tears, the shortcomings, the uphill battle… all of that was worth it this morning.”

We think these guys have co-parenting down to a tee, what great role models for their little guy.
