A school is GRADING parents on their involvment in education
As part of a brand new initiative in a school in the UK, parents are now being graded alongside their children.
That's right folks, if you thought your schooling days were over… think again.
Parents of students at Greasley Beauvale primary school, in Nottinghamshire, are being given grades based on how involved they are with their kid's education.
The grades range from an A (Actively-involved, highly-supportive parent) to a D (Does nothing to support their child’s learning).
It all seems a bit intrusive if you ask us…
Headteacher Donna Chambers came up with the system after becoming “frustrated with some parents’ reluctance to support their children in school.”
While for the most part, the parental grading system has been received well, not all parents are convinced.
“They’ll have us all wearing dunce’s hats next, It’s absolutely ludicrous” one mother told The Telegraph.
