"A historic moment!" Incredible footage of baby born in amniotic sac WOWS
Absolutely incredible footage has emerged of a baby being born en caul, or in the amniotic sac – a phenomenon that occurs one in every 80,000 births.
The amazing video shows the baby peacefully sleeping (like a little jellybean!) inside the sac, as liquid gently flows around him, giving us an awe-inspiring insight into what happens inside our tummies during pregnancy.
Filmed by Lis Face and shared on the Portuguese Céu de Borboletas (or Butterfly Heaven) Facebook page, the video has racked up almost 100,000 shares already, as well as prompting thousands of comments from people who roundly declared the video as “beautiful”.
