A great reminder: RSPCA's Kindness at Christmas video has us in tears

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) has created a touching Christmas video.

The animal welfare charity wanted to remind people to spread the holiday kindness on to their fellow furry friends.

The ‘Kindness at Christmas’ video shows a montage of children playing and encountering creatures.

In the video, a boy and his mum save a snail they find in the middle of the path.

And when his dog is afraid of the fireworks, he builds him a fort with Christmas lights.

As the boy grows older, he continues to look after pets and interfere when others are cruel to them.

At the end of the video, he rescues a box of kittens and brings them to the local vet – where it is revealed that he has grown up to work at RSPCA.

Writing on their Twitter, RSPCA said: “It's finally here! Check out our 2018 Kindness At Christmas video.

“It was created entirely in-house with our talented staff working their magic, including a staff member singing a cover of Kings Of Leon's song, Use Somebody.

“Let us know what you think!”

The touching video is a great reminder and many comments have commended it for its efforts to raise awareness of animal cruelty.
