9-year-old Irish magician Aidan McCann wins hearts on The Ellen Show
Nine-year-old Kildare magician Aidan McCann was absolutely delighted to meet the legend of daytime TV, Ellen DeGeneres, and impress her with his card tricks.
Ellen also surprised the Maynooth personality with a video message from his idol Shin Lim, and he was invited to Las Vegas to be a special guest on Lim's magic show.
The schoolboy reached the semi-final of Ireland's Got Talent earlier in the year, and has been practising magic for four years now.

Aidan immediately impressed US viewers with his incredible card tricks, using a DVD for his prop (which he cleverly got Ellen herself to sign), a blank DVD case and a notebook.
McCann spoke to the host about his visit Stateside, namely his hotel and his first time seeing the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
He pointed out that he struggles with some easy techniques because of how small his hands are, which gained a laugh from Ellen's audience;
The youngster won the hearts of US and Irish audiences alike, correctly guessing Ellen's card.
He was clearly overjoyed when Ellen presented the video message from America's Got Talent Winner Shin Lim. The 27-year-old Canadian-American magician told Aidan that Ellen had shown him videos of his tricks, and thought he was 'incredible.'
The third-class student was bowled over with happiness after being invited out to Las Vegas to guest-star on Lim's show, responding with a simple; "Oh. My. God."
