It's pretty but strong, and there are so many L names out there that you're bound to like some of them. Here are our favourites…

1. Lee
Of English origin, it means pasture or meadow. It's more common as a middle name but it can make for a nice, short and sweet first name too.
2. Lachlan
This Scottish name refers to the fjord-land, so it's got a bit of nature in there. Less popular than it once was, it's still a big hit down under. Remember Lachie from Home & Away?!
3. Logan
Thought to be Scottish in origin, Logan is very popular in America and has caught on here in recent years. It means 'a small hollow.'
4. Lorcan
An Irish name meaning 'fierce', it has been gaining favour with Irish parents once more over the past decade or so.
