11-year-old girl asks her stepdad the sweetest question and we are in tears

While reading his children a bedtime story, which he done most nights, Dad had no idea about the surprise hiding at the end of the book. 

His two sons and stepdaughter all gathered on the couch in their pyjamas to hear the story, and when they reached the end, they asked Dad to open the tiny window on the last page.

When he did, he found a letter with his name on it, and when he began to read, we're all reduced to tears… you might want some tissues for this:

"Dear dad, thank you for being there for me, thank you for the good memories."

"You work hard, it takes a lot to step up and take someone else's place, you raised me from the start as if I was your own, you're there for me when mum can't be."

"From you I have learned that dads can be stable and loving, hardworking and patient, best of all, you taught me that not all dads leave when life gets hard."

"You choose to be a parent when you didn't have to be, I want you to be the one that walks me down the aisle when I get married."

And as you can imagine this is the moment that Dad realises his 11-year-old stepdaughter wants him to legally adopt her. 

The moment is beyond beautiful as Dad exclaims: "Of course."

The pair embrace and it could not be any more special as they are both reduced to tears. 

How special is this? A family moment recorded forever.
