Book review: Fum by Karl Newson with illustrations by Lucy Fleming
Karl Newson is an up-and-coming author, and if his latest book, Fum, is anything to go by he is definitely going to become a household name.
Fum is fun and colourful; a modern fairytale with a twist, it follows the Crumb family as they try to find their smallest member, Fum.
And in order to find him, Pa, Ma, Grandpa Plum, Fi and Fo race through the fairytale world; from the Three Little Pigs to Little Red Riding Hood, they ask every one of our favourite characters if they have seen him.

But nobody has.
However, what they don't realise is that Fum is actually there with them all along – he's just too small to see – and readers will have great fun trying to find him.
Written in simple and lyrical rhyme with magical illustrations by Lucy Fleming, this interactive story is perfect for bedtime.
